Will is a retired physician from South Carolina whose deep-rooted passion for the outdoors was cultivated from a childhood spent hunting and fishing, later adding camping to his repertoire when his son joined the Cub/Boy Scouts. Married with two adult children, Will has called the shores of Lake Murray, the second largest lake in South Carolina, home for over two decades, finding joy in fishing and boating.
Having practiced as a physician, Will's professional journey equipped him with the invaluable skills of listening, evaluating, and problem-solving—traits now channeled into his post-retirement endeavors. He applies these skills by attentively addressing the concerns of friends and clients, researching, and analyzing data to develop effective solutions.
As a former medical director overseeing a sizable health insurance program, Will gained insights into the business side of healthcare. This experience honed his understanding of business intricacies, such as cost containment, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining quality. His familial ties to the coastal heritage run deep, with a great-grandfather who owned an icehouse and fish market along the coast of North Carolina.
Matt's passion for the outdoors is palpable, encompassing activities such as fishing, shrimping, hunting, and a comprehensive understanding of firearms. Grounded in strong values, he cherishes family time with his wife and children. Matt brings a wealth of problem-solving skills, coupled with extensive experience in designing custom homes and a rich background in outdoor pursuits, to MW Marine Solutions.
